New design

Alex Roddie

I’m experimenting with a new blog design. The old one (which I haven’t actually been using for that long) was becoming cluttered, and I gradually came round to the view that white text on a black background isn’t actually that readable–hence my experiment with Blogger Dynamic Views.

I think the layout is a lot cleaner and more efficient, but the sidebar has been drastically de-emphasised. The important stuff is all there, but it’s hidden away. Most importantly, the new headline bar gives me the flexibility to expand the site and add more pages (which will be important later on!)

Any views welcome…
